Fairness is needed in Illinois' civil justice system!
In February, the Illinois Supreme Court overturned 2005 legislative reforms that had significantly improved the liability climate in the state and assured that physicians could continue to practive here and that patients would have access to medical care. What happens next is uncertain, but since the now-overturned law had such a positive impact, it seems likely that without it another medical liability crisis is now on the horizon.
